Meet Jesus: an apostle of Allah who pointed to Ahmad

Jesus Prophet IslamThe Qur’an emphasizes that Jesus is not God (5:17, 72; 9:30-31). Jesus was simply a messenger in the long line of prophets to Israel who “gave glad tidings of Ahmad” (Muhammad) (4:171; 5:75; 43:49; 61:6).

Jesus served Allah, performed miracles by Allah’s “permission,” and did not die a physical human death.

Muhammad alleges that Allah first revealed the Torah (Taurat) “in which was guidance and light; with it the prophets who submitted themselves (to Allah).” After revealing the Torah, Allah sent “Isa, son of Marium, verifying what was before him of the Taurat and We gave him the Injeel in which was guidance and light.”(4:44-46).

[Isa and Injeel are Arabic for Jesus and the Gospel. The Qur’an does not define what the gospel is other than referring to it providing guidance and light revealed by Allah.]
